Alan Dorn, piano
Alan is a pianist and teacher based in Codicote, Herts.
Originally self-taught, Alan has studied classical piano with Dorian Leljak and jazz with Marco Marconi, and received advice from artists such as Leslie Howard, Christine Stevenson and Charles Owen. He is a Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music.
Alan appears frequently as recitalist and collaborative pianist at venues throughout Hertfordshire and London, and in 2024 had the privilege of performing at 11 Downing Street.
While Alan performs music across a wide range of periods and styles, he has a particular affinity with the Romantic piano repertoire, especially the music of Chopin.
